Responsible Minerals Procurement Policy
The Tayca Group aims to achieve sustainable development and has established the “Basic Procurement Policy,” striving for fair, equitable, and transparent transactions. One of the key principles of this policy is “Supply Chain Management,” promoting responsible procurement practices.
Among the mineral resources traded globally, some are identified as high-risk due to illegal activities in conflict regions, human rights violations, and environmental destruction. To strengthen responsible procurement, the Tayca Group has established the “Responsible Mineral Sourcing Policy” and will work with our business partners to engage in CSR procurement.
The Tayca Group will scrutinize the risks associated with human rights violations, environmental destruction, and support for armed groups in conflict-affected and high-risk areas (CAHRAs) when sourcing conflict minerals (such as tin, tantalum, tungsten, and gold). If high risks are identified through risk assessment, we will promote corrective actions.
