Surface modification

Various surface modification processes are available to respond to various applications such as coatings, inks, synthetic resins, toners, and cosmetics.

Inorganic surface processing (dispersibility, weather resistance/light resistance, hydrophilizing)
We can provide functionality such as compatibility with resins and outdoor durability by coating particle surfaces with inorganic oxides or hydroxides in the order of a few nm.
Organic surface processing (dispersibility, weather resistance/light resistance, hydrophobizing, fluidity, electric charging, compounding)
Particle surface polar groups can be modified using various silane coupling agents and types of silicone to provide functions including lipophilicity and electrical characteristics.
In addition, we can also carry out surface processing and compounding with materials with disparate characteristics using our unique wet, high dispersion processing.
Disparate element, inorganic oxide immobilization
Support processing can be provided for dopes and surfaces of disparate elements for purposes such as the provision of weather resistance and light resistance indoors and outdoors, or to express functionality such as photocatalytic effects, etc.
