Sulfonation technology
Using our unique sulfonation technology (sulfonation using anhydrous sulfate gas), we are able to handle a wide variety of products.
- Surface modification (wettability, reduction in the angle of contact with water, hydrophilizing, etching, ion exchanging)
- We can modify the surfaces of base materials by bringing anhydrous sulfate gas into contact with the material surface. (There are some materials that cannot be surface modified depending on the base material. e.g.; polyester, Teflon, etc)
Also, by introducing a sulfonate group, we can provide a positive ion exchange effect.
- Antistatic processing (electrical conductivity)
- A material can be provided with a sulfonate group by bringing anhydrous sulfate gas into contact with the material surface.
By bringing this sulfonate group and water into contact, iconicity will increase and the material will become ionically conductive.
Some materials carbonize when the volume of contact with anhydrous sulfate gas is increased and become electron conductive.
