TAYCA group produces single crystals in Japan and the U.S. By manufacturing at two bases in both the U.S. and Japan, we will be able to establish a stable supply and develop products closer to our customers.
Research and development is conducted at both bases to innovate the field of piezoelectric elements.

① Features of PMN-PT (X2B)

  • Extremely high electromechanical coupling coefficient and piezoelectric constant
  • High relative permittivity
  • High transmission/reception sensitivity and wide bandwidth

② Features of PIN-PMN-PT(X4B)

Improved version of PMN-PT that achieves high Trt and coercive electric field, in addition to high electromechanical coupling coefficient, piezoelectric constant, and relative permittivity.

③Features of Sm-dope PIN-PMN-PT(X6B)

A new-generation single crystal that combines a relative dielectric constant as high as that of PMN-PT with a coercive field as high as that of PIN-PMN-PT.

*Has a surperior coupling coefficient (single crystal k33: 95%, piezoelectric ceramic k33: 71%) compared to that of conventional piezoelectric ceramic.

Production in two sites

Our domestic plant in Japan has started operation in 2022, which enables us to supply from 2 bases, Japan and the U.S., to our customers across the world.
A stable supply will be ensured by having multiple bases.
