MESSAGE FROM PRESIDENT

In 2017, JAPAN SERICITE CORPORATION, whose main business is the sales of cosmetic raw material; “sericite”, was jointly founded by TAYCA Corporation and Sanshin Mining Corporation.
Sanshin Mining Corporation owns a mine and sericite extracted from their mine has characteristics such as smooth feel, good stretch, and excellent transparency. It is mainly used for foundation applications and its demand has been growing steadily.
However, sericite is a natural product so that the amount can be extracted from the mine is limited; therefore, it was necessary to establish a supply system that can satisfy the demand growth in the future. Under these circumstances, TAYCA Corporation who has the technology of inorganic powder, conducted a survey of the supply sources in overseas and developed new lineup; collaborating Sanshin Mining and refined high quality overseas products. We are working on further development and expanding our sericite lineup in order to broaden our business scale.
JAPAN SERICITE conducts sales of the new lineup “JS Series” as well as Sanshin Mining series “Sericite FSE” by using the network we have established, and we will make efforts to expand sales of cosmetic raw material.
